Apple provides an out of the box VisionOS project that provides a scene with a volume.

In the event that you are trying to transform an existing project into one that starts with a volume, the key elements are found in the info.plist and the way you code the initial scene.

Samples are found in the repository linked below on the 101/volume-starter branch.
