Bumbl

In 2015, during the MFA Products of Design's 'Product, Brand and Experience' class taught by Aruliden, our Founder, Oscar de la Hera Gomez, partnered with Wan Jung Hung and Adam K. Fujita to produce a magnetic flatware set.

The challenge of the class involved finding a movement that was on the cusp of becoming mainstream, research its audience and market and leverage the findings to produce a brand, product and experience to meet its demand.

This process saw the team carry out user and market research into Baby Led Weaning, before ideating products with an associated brand and experience to answer to this movement. The result is Bumbl: a magnetic flatware set for families exploring the world of Baby Led Weaning, and is designed with both caregivers and babies in mind.
