In April 2022, Marco Andreas Basaglia and Oscar de la Hera Gomez set out to create a mixed reality game. Their objectives were for it to be something that they would be proud of as well as something fun, delightful and worth sharing. Upon aligning on a game of Whack-A-Mole; Marco did a first pass of the design which centered around using Animoji's as characters; inspiring Oscar to create the first prototype.

Although Oscar thought that Marco's design and creative was genius, both Marco & Oscar considered a game of Whack-A-Mole to be saturated within the market, leading them to raised the question "What's the story?", as they wondered how this game would stand out. At this point Oscar asked how they could create a game that they could one day use to tell their children tales about emotions and human relationships to which Marco replied by telling a story about a fox stealing chickens egg's, that had upset and infuriated chickens at a farm.

The first version of the game was released to the general public on June 1st 2022 for iPad and MacOS ahead of Oscar's first visit to Apple Park, as part of a special invitation by Apple to attend their World Wide Developer Conference (WWDC). Since the first release, Marco and Oscar have released the version on iPhone.
