What is Market Value?

Oscar de la Hera Gomez

Market value describes how much a company, asset, industry, product, service or experience is financially worth.

As part of taking a product, service or experience (i.e. an initiative) to market or deciding whether it is worth pursuing, companies and individuals need to determine how much an initiative is worth.

An initiative's market value can be determined by defining the market size and multiplying it by how much people would be willing to pay for the initiative.
